I put together a PPT for my Year 10s as a feedback lesson for their mock exam paper 2 (we used Dickens/Glastonbury which is SAMs 2). It was designed really to show students where they needed to improve on reading so the majority of this PPT looks at Qs 1 – 4 (there are some high end Q5s there too).
Please note: this PPT uses examples from my own pupils’ work (apart from the Q2 level 1 response which I took from AQA training material); the marks are what we tended to agree as a dept and are NOT approved by AQA. They should not be referred to as formal AQA guidance (AQA’s training on this paper begins this autumn so keep an eye on this).
